New Here?
Thinking about visiting First Christian Church-Fort Worth? We know how it feels to visit a church for the first time, and we want to make your experience a memorable one.
Service Times
Sunday:
9:30am Sunday School
10:50am Worship Service
Arrival
When you arrive at First Christian Church you will notice the large parking area on the north side of the building. Please feel free to park anywhere in the lot. We have use of the lot at no cost on Sundays. You may also park at any of the metered street spots, which are free on weekends.
From the parking lot you may enter the building from Taylor Street (handicap accessible) or from Throckmorton Street. One of our friendly greeters will be there to welcome you to First Christian and help you find your place.
Nursery
Families with nursery age (under 6 years old) children will be happy with our church nursery. A clean, attractive area staffed with carefully screened, thoroughly trained, loving workers will set your mind at ease as you enjoy our services. To ensure the safety of the children, we issue matching security tags for children and parents.
Coffee & Fellowship
We have a coffee fellowship before Sunday School at 10:00am in the foyer. Join us and we'll make you feel right at home.
Dress
At First Christian, we understand that every church is unique, and guests usually don't like to be surprised. We hope this information will be of help. Some of our men will wear ties, but most will just wear a casual shirt. Many of our ladies will wear skirts and blouses, but some will be more casual. We want our guests to feel comfortable when attending our services, so please understand that there is no dress code. Come and join us this Sunday. You will feel right at home, as our guest.
Worship
Our service is a more traditional family church service filled with a blend of hymns and spiritual songs. Our ministers faithfully preach relevant, straightforward, powerful messages, and we know you will love them.
Offering
Each week at First Christian Church there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. This is an act of worship for the members of our church. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to participate.
Communion
We practice unity and inclusion at the Lord's Table. All are welcome to the Lord's Table for the sake of mission and for the sake of the world as the one family of God. During the service you are invited to participate as fully as you are comfortable.
We are looking forward to your visit this Sunday!
